Jersey Restaurants & Eating Out

Anglo-French cuisine with Portuguese influences and a natural larder made up of fresh seafood, creamy Jersey dairy produce and seasonal Jersey Royals and tomatoes makes Jersey a great place to eat out. Jersey restaurants positively spill over with delicious fresh locally sourced dishes and the tiny island is home to more Michelin Stars per square mile than anywhere else outside London.

Speciality

Readily available fresh seafood includes lobster, crab, oysters, fish and seasonal catches of Ormers, fished under strict guidelines. Often simply cooked and accompanied by baguette and wine, Jersey Royals with melted butter also make a great side dish. Restaurants of every speciality can be found on the island and even if you’ve opted for dinner, bed and breakfast, there’s plenty of opportunity to try other eateries. Food festivals and events are a good place to try out some of the more traditional specialities such as Jersey wonders, a savoury doughnut, or black butter, a treacle like apple preserve. Jersey also has its own wine estate and breweries. Find out more on our food and drink page.
