Jersey Open Gardens 2016
For just £3 you can visit some of the beautiful private gardens on the island from 2 – 5pm during the spring and summer. All proceeds go towards Jersey Association of Youth and Friendship (JAYF).



Le Coin, Le Mont du Coin St Brelade
10th April
5 acre garden modelled on Captain Cook’s garden in Monserrate, Portugal. Cream tea with free tea refills and a raffle.
Domaine des Vaux, La Rue de Bas, St Lawrence
17th April
Gardens and woodland set around a Jersey farmhouse with native and species trees, Ccmellias, primroses, a formal herb garden and vegetable plot. Plant stall, raffle and cream teas.
Oaklands, Le Rue d’Elysee, St. Peter
24th April
With a large Camellia collection, arboretum and woodland area, there’s plenty to explore before heading for a cream tea served in front of the house.
1 Westward, La Marquanderie Hill, St Brelade
12th June
Redesigned and replanted with an expansive lawn and pond full of wildfowl, there’s also a rose garden. Cream teas will be served near the house.
Beau Desert, La Rue de la Garenne, Trinity
26th June
Enjoy a woodland walk with huge island beds, small lake and stream a box hedged parterre where cream teas will be served.
Sion Hall Farm, La Rue St Thomas, St. Saviour
24th July
Owned by the same family since 1921, the garden was built in 1977 and over 200 trees were planted in the valley. Shrubs flank the steep banks with a wildflower area and apple orchard. Cream teas served.
