Condor Ferries Good Times

Condor Ferries new uniform

New ship, new identity

It’s all getting quite exciting for Condor Ferries. The new ship is in the final stages of preparation and can now officially be called Condor Liberation. Her name was chosen to coincide with the Channel Islands 70th liberation anniversary, taking place on 9th May this year.

Not only has the new ship been named but Condor Ferries have also revealed their new company identity. Three distinct colours have been chosen to represent the companies leisure and holiday outlook: dark blue, pink and gold. The new branding is also based on the concept of ‘Good Times,’ signifying what’s ahead for the company, its customers and the Channel Islands.

The new branding can already be seen with the introduction of a freshly updated Condor Ferries web and mobile site. In the coming weeks the new branding will be rolled out across all the signage, port offices, Condor’s ships and uniforms, which will first be seen onboard Condor Liberation when she’s launched in late March.

The design of the uniforms was a key part of the whole concept with many months of hard work being put in by Bournemouth-based Walker Agency alongside the Condor team. Designed with both style and comfort in mind, smart grey suits with flashes of pink, accompanied by pink neck scarves and ties will be seen on all crew and port staff by the end of March.

Condor’s Strategic Marketing Manager, Justin Amey remarked:

“As a company, over the past months there have been several significant milestones – our 50th anniversary, a new ten year licence to serve the Channel Islands to UK route and the successful purchase of our new fast ferry, Condor Liberation, which will come into service at the end of March. So, this is the ideal time to refresh our brand and bring it up-to-date with our new vision and identity – Good Times for our customers and Islands.”

We can’t wait to see all the changes and enjoy the Good Times ahead.
