Exploring all aspects of ‘The Bridge’ at the heart of St Sampsons. Guernsey Museum, Candie Gardens.

Celts and Romans:Treasure and Trade

28th March – 4th October

View the hoard of silver coins from Jersey, Roman artefacts from France and Guernsey’s restored Roman ship timbers. Guernsey Museum.

Saturday Concerts in Market Square

Every Saturday from 16 May – 26 September

The start of the season for Saturday music concerts which take place from 12.15 – 2.30pm in Market Square, St Peter Port.

Sure Festival of Comedy

Now in its 9th year, enjoy UK and International comedians at various venues in Guernsey.

Food and entertainment at Guernsey’s annual traditional show at Saumarez Park, organised by the National Trust of Guernsey.

Torteval Scarecrow Festival

1st – 2nd August

Follow the trail and scarecrows around the village of Torteval. Refreshments available.

The West Show

19th – 20th August

Music, refreshments and entertainment with a traditional agricultural and horticultural show at L’Eree Aerodrome.

Donkey Derby

22nd August

Races and charity stalls as well as a beer tent at Saumarez Park.

International Air Display

10th September

Look to the skies for breathtaking displays from RAFAT Red Arrows and other military and civilian aircraft. Free display, read more about on our International Air Display page.

Tennerfest

1st October – 10th November

Throughout the year Guernsey has a series of markets and food events showcasing the best local produce with specialities such as Guernsey Gâche and fresh seafood on offer:
  • Castel Parish Farmers Market opens at 9am every other Saturday throughout the year in Le Friquet Garden Centre, Castel.
  • The Farmers and Fisherman’s Market offers Fresh local produce including locally caught seafood. Open every Saturday from 9am, during the winter months the market operates from St Martin’s Parish Hall and moves to Sausmarez Manor from April.
  • Fresh Fridays Produce Market in Market Square, St Peter Port, opens from 8.30am until 2.30pm every Friday. Guernsey local produce is for sale including fresh fish, meat, vegetables, chutney, pâté, deli and cakes.
  • St Peter’s Community Market offers a selection of plants, pies, homemade jams and fresh produce every Wednesday 10-11am in the Community Hut, behind St. Peter’s Post Office.
