From foodie festivals to Christmas fun

From foodie festivals to Christmas fun, there’s lots going on. With Tennerfest offering you the chance to sample first class award winning menus at unbelievable prices and duty free Christmas shopping made all the better with a wonderful festive programme of events, why not take a look at some of the Autumn and Winter events in Jersey this season and plan a break?

La Fete de Noue Christmas tree


1st October until 10th November

Island wide food event where restaurants offer 3 course menus from as little as £10 per head. Take a look at our Tennerfest page for more details. 

La Fais’sie d’Cidre

18th – 19th October

Traditional cider making festival with craft markets, food stalls and activities for children at Hamptonne Country Life Museum. Adults £7.90, children £5.

Black Butter making

23rd – 25th October

Join in with traditional black butter making at The Elms, National Trust for Jersey Headquarters La Chève Rue, St. Mary. Free event 2 – 5pm Thursday, from 10am Friday all day and night to 1pm Saturday.

Exhibitions and ongoing events throughout October, November and December:
  • TB Davies – The Only Sailor in the Fleet – until 25th November at the Maritime Museum. An exhibition detailing the sailing life of TB Davies from a 13 year old fisherman to an accomplished sailor.
  • Ice Age Island – until 2nd November Exhibition at La Hougue Bie Museum. Discover prehistoric Jersey.
  • Treasure – until 31st December at Jersey Museum. Uncover Celts and Romans in Jersey.
  • The Iconic Exhibition ‘Remembering’ until 26th November at The Harbour Gallery. An exhibition of 100 artists, 100 years on from World War I using the theme ‘Remembering’. 10am – 5.30pm, Free entry. 

Spirit of Christmas Market

4th – 7th December

Jersey’s artisan market with a Christmas theme. 10am – 8pm Weighbridge Place, St Helier.

La Fête dé Noué

4th – 7th December

The island lights up with Christmas parades, markets, movies and a whole programme of events for the festive season. 

Joyeux Noël – ‘Le Marchi Nouormand’

11th – 13th December

Traditional Norman French Market with a Christmas theme. Weighbridge Place, St Helier. Opens at 10am, closes 8pm Thursday, 6pm Friday and Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.

Boxing Day Run – Jersey Old Motor Club

26th December

Jersey Old Motor Club’s special vintage car parade around the island leaving from St Helier at 9am and arriving back for a full display from 11.30am – 1.30pm.
