Hidden Treasures History Festival

Coin hordes, underground bunkers, the Royal Court and island libraries are just some of Jersey’s better kept secrets available to discover during ‘Hidden Treasures’ a week-long history festival from 6 – 14 September. Hosted by Jersey Heritage, Jersey Tourism, Societe Jeriaise and CIOS (Channel Islands Occupation Society) the event aims to explore rarely seen artefacts and give people a chance to discover some of the islands wonderful architecture, art and archaeology.

Jersey’s National Trust ‘Open Day’ also falls within the week with free access to all properties from 10am – 4pm on 13 September. Other treats include vintage fairs, music by candlelight, walks and chances to meet some of the island Seigneurs in their family homes.
