The annual food festival is once again celebrating Jersey’s superb cuisine with an ever-increasing number of restaurants taking part offering set-priced menus with 3-courses from just £10 a head. The menu prices vary between £10 and £20 so it’s a great time to head over to the islands, take advantage of the lower package prices of the autumn and enjoy saving money whilst enjoying dining out.

The Jersey MarathonStandard Chartered Jersey Marathon

The marathon starts on the streets of St Helier and runs through some of the Island’s most scenic spots, the beautiful coastline, country lanes and picturesque valleys. In addition to the main marathon, there is a relay race and fun run so something for everyone! This is the seventh year that the Jersey Marathon has been held. Not only is it a great race but also contributes to the economy of the Island and to worthwhile charitable causes.

Jersey Paperclix Rally

10 – 12 Oct 2013

Entry for spectators is free as they watch the skilled drivers and navigators weave their way through the lanes of Jersey. Vehicles range from Mini’s to World Rally cars, all of them providing superb entertainment for the thousands of spectators attending each year. This year the event features the lovely lanes in the east of the island with stages in Trinity, St Martin, Grouville and St Clement. Saturday morning will see the only western stages in St Ouen and St Mary. All the entrants can be seen in-between stages at this year’s rally base, the RJ and HS show ground which is also the location of the official finish of the event. There are also a number of displays and stands to keep all the family busy in-between stages.
