Free Air Show in the Channel Islands

St Peter Port - Air DisplayThe International Air Display takes place on Thursday 12th September 2013 during the Battle of Britain Week celebrations which have been going on for over four decades in the islands.

The skies above Jersey and Guernsey come alive with what is said to be one of the largest free air displays in Europe. Breath-taking formation teams and skilled aerobatic pilots take to the skies as military and civilian aircraft wow the crowds below.

Enjoy the history of yesteryear with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which includes the Lancaster, Hurricane and Spitfire. Watch out for the flying precision of The Blades and marvel at the Breitling Wing Walkers. The display finale is the world renowned Red Arrows.

In Jersey, the best vantage points are St Aubin’s Bay and St Helier. In Guernsey the show is centred above St Peter Port. The best advice is to watch it where you can!
