Enabling javascript

Internet Explorer version 5.0 and above.

  1. Start Internet Explorer and select 'Tools', ' Internet Options' from the menu.
  2. Click on the 'Security' tab, then click the globe icon to select the Internet zone.
  3. Click on the 'Custom level' button to inspect the detailed option settings.
  4. Scroll down to the 'Scripting' section and ensure that 'Active scripting' is enabled. If the 'Enable' radio button is not already selected, click on it to select it.
  5. Click 'OK' to close the 'Security Settings' dialogue. If you see a warning dialogue 'Are you sure you want to change the security settings for this zone?' click on the 'Yes' button.
  6. Click 'OK'. The 'Internet Options' dialogue will close.
  7. Close and restart your browser for any changes to take effect.

Mozilla Firefox version 1.0 and above.

  1. Start Firefox and select 'Tools', 'Options' from the menu.
  2. Click on the 'Content' icon.
  3. Click in the boxes next to 'Enable Java' and 'Enable JavaScript' a tick will appear.
  4. Click 'OK'. The 'Internet Options' dialogue will close.
  5. Close and restart your browser for any changes to take effect.

Netscape Navigator 4x and above.

  1. Start Netscape Navigator and select 'Edit', 'Preferences' from the menu.
  2. Select 'Advanced' from the 'Category' box.
  3. Ensure that there is a tick in the box next to 'Enable javascript'. If it is not ticked, click the box to select it.
  4. Click 'OK'. The 'Preferences' dialogue will close.
  5. Close and restart your browser for any changes to take effect.

Opera.

  1. Start Opera and select 'File', 'Quick Preferences' from the menu.
  2. Click next to 'Enable JavaScript'.
  3. Load desired page.
