The Merton's two-million pound all-weather Aquadome leisure complex features changing rooms, a heated pool, rapids, water cannons, cascades and an 80-metre water slide, plus a toddlers' pool with a beach and a mini water slide! There's also a cafe and a gallery. The giant roof and sides slide open in good weather for sunbathing and access to the terrace, gardens, outdoor pool, spa pool and tennis court! The complex also features a fitness centre with the latest aerobic equipment, a steam room and sauna. A team of lifeguards is in attendance to ensure holidaymakers' safety at all times and entrance to the Aquadome is free to all guests at the Merton.
NEW for 2008 is the Flowrider™ Wave – the only one in the UK - a major new £1 million attraction which offers a combination of surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding in one board sport! The Flowrider sends a thin sheet of water up a sloped and cushioned platform to create a wavelike flow of water suitable for anyone to ride, from beginners to advanced surfers.
Price guide: £2 per child per hour, £3 per adult per hour to include wetsuit, rash vest and equipment. Numbers limited to 12 per session of 1 hour with instructors on hand. Height restriction min. 42" on body board or 52" standing on board.
